Important News about AngelMounds.Org

As many fans of Angel Mounds know, the site is part of the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites network (ISMHS). The Friends of Angel Mounds (FOAM) is an independent organization that supports and aids the ISMHS in its mission to preserve and promote the site. In the past, both organizations have maintained their own websites and social media presence, a situation that could cause confusion and certainly has led to a duplication of efforts. To simplify matters, the ISMHS has asked to take over online communication for its sites, and we at FOAM agree.

To that end, both this website and the Friends of Angel Mounds’ social media presence will be closing down as of 6/30/2019. FOAM encourages everyone to visit the ISMHS’s various online resources for up-to-date information about the site and the great events that take place there. Here are all the links you need!

We at FOAM thank everyone who’s helped us to help Angel Mounds State Historic Site be the wonderful community resource that it is. We hope you’ll all make the transition to using the ISMHS’s resources and continue to support Angel Mounds into the future!
