Enjoy dance performances, lectures, authentic food and hands-on activities. Admire our beautiful ofrenda room, where candles illuminate highly decorative, temporary altars to those we remember. This year we are proud to present the Chicago-based traditional Mexican folk music and dance ensemble, Sones de México, who, as part of their main performance at 3:30pm, will be working with local songwriters to create and perform a corrido, or tragic ballad.
The celebration will run from 10am-6pm.
