As with all major sites, Angel Mounds State Historic Site could not operate without the help of volunteers. However, at Angel Mounds, we are lucky enough to have a whole group of local citizens who not only volunteer much of their time and effort, but also have come together to build an entire supporting body called Friends of Angel Mounds. The Friends work to help maintain the integrity and beauty of the site, and strive to make the site more visually appealing as well as culturally and aesthetically interesting for our visitors. On top of this, they are a huge part in the planning and execution of our biggest annual event, Native American Days. They also play a large role in the fundraising for the site by running the day-to-day operations of the gift shop. Below is a list of those who dedicate their time in helping Angel Mounds State Historic Site through their dedication and leadership as board members of the Friends of Angel Mounds.
